Or perhaps you think you belonged to the high risk group of people who may get a heart attack. You have stumbled at the right place.

Having a heart attack is not a death sentence, nor is it a life sentence. We realized that the general publics’ awareness and knowledge on heart attack are very vague. While the scenarios of each individual heart attack cases are not as dramatic as portrayed on TV, it is through experiencing one or going through the ordeal with a loved one that the knowledge comes on.

Uncommon Hearts is set up with the intention of sharing with you the personal journey of heart attack survivors and their families. All encounters are first hand experience. We hoped that our sharing will help like-minded people find solace in knowing they are not alone.

To have survived a heart attack, and having to go through a stents implantation or bypass surgery is merely a process. What’s most important is life after. Suddenly, there were so many questions left unanswered. What do you do with your life after a heart attack? Will my life be as it was before? Come journey with us as we share our lives and what we do.

If you or a loved one had battered a heart attack, we welcome you to comment and share your stories with us. Life goes on!
